![]() ![]() Recapturing through ongoing dedicated IT projects and manual effort is obviously hard work. ![]() This process means that they often lose ‘critical business context’ along the way. Eliminating hidden data taxĪ key part of the whole mechanics of this task is the need for customers to extract data from original sources and export them to a central location. The interconnected nature of cloud computing is, if anything, often making this whole task even more of a challenge compared to the days when IT was just ‘on-premises’ in one place i.e. We know that accessing and actioning data located in disparate (typically disconnected) systems and locations across different cloud providers, data vendors and information platforms has always been a complex challenge. In line with this new development, SAP also introduced strategic partnerships with some well know enterprise data companies - Collibra, Confluent, Databricks and DataRobot - all of which new or ramped-up unions are designed to enrich SAP Datasphere and allow organizations to create a unified data architecture that securely combines SAP and non-SAP data no matter where it resides. “We want to help our customers take the next step to easily and confidently integrate SAP data with non-SAP data from third-party applications and platforms, unlocking entirely new insights and knowledge to bring digital transformation to another level.” “With SAP customers generating 87% of total global commerce, SAP data is among a company’s most valuable business assets and is contained in the most important functions of an organization, from manufacturing, to supply chains, finance, human resources and more,” said Juergen Mueller, SAP chief technology officer and member of the Executive Board. SAP Datasphere is the next generation of the firm’s data management portfolio, it has been built to give customers easy access to business-ready data across their data landscape. This new productization emanating from the SAP stack is intended to provide organizations with access to mission-critical data, enabling (as is the industry-wide mantra these days) what everybody likes to call faster time-to-business insights and better business decision-making. ![]()
